Chamard Vineyards Welcomes Stony Creek Gallery to its Farm Winery Bistro
Clinton, Ct (PRWEB) June 16, 2013
Chamard Vineyards addition of its Farm Winery Bistro last fall completes the Chamard Experience with the opportunity to pair Simple, Wholesome, Classic Food with the French inspired wines made on the farm. Sourcing ingredients locally is key to Chamard’s mission of supporting Connecticut agriculture by celebrating local gastronomy. In the spirit of farming and a dedication to “waste not, want not”, furniture and decor in the Farm Winery Bistro are crafted from repurposed wine barrels, reclaimed barnwood, fallen persimmons trees and grape trunks. The views of the vineyard are spectacular and the walls, painted in the grey tones of weathered shingles, have been calling for art. The first exhibit will run July 1 – August 31st.
Chamard Vineyards Farm Winery Bistro Open:

Kansas City, Mo. (PRWEB) June 11, 2013
A new model for business schools opens this fall at the University of Missouri-Kansas City (UMKC). The new $ 32 million, 58,000-square-foot Henry W. Bloch Executive Hall for Entrepreneurship and Innovation is part of the Henry W. Bloch School of Management, serving 1,800 graduate and undergraduate students. The facility’s active learning classrooms include a simulated trading floor, design lab and behavioral science research space to help students learn by doing.
The new Bloch Hall is more like a design school than a business school, said the UMKC Bloch School Dean Teng-kee Tan. While there will still be traditional classroom and case-method learning, the Bloch School is striving to break traditional molds by inventing and propagating new methods of experiential learning.
Specifically, the three-story glass and terracotta building has a curved, functional design that includes:
